The size and weight great, the wheel adjustment very interesting all in all a winner
Fenix E06R the only competitor with UV and laser but bigger and wider. G5 the perfect compact size, super slim and lightweight.180flex head and pocket clip are very useful. Highly recommended EDC light.
I’ve had my tester G5 for a few months now and absolutely love it! The new and improved G5 is a sight to behold! The swivel head is so versatile, I’ve found the range of motion to be very useful. I use it every morning on the lowest brightness to get ready in the morning and not wake up my girlfriend. On the flip side I also use it at work in rather harsh environments on its brightest setting quite often as well. I keep it in the pocket watch pocket of my jeans and it fits wonderfully. Doing this, I’m able to keep my X2Pro clipped in my left pocket and still keep my G5 on me. I actually use the G5 more now because it’s so convenient. I highly recommend the G5 to anyone. For only $20 I’m definitely going to be buying more for friends and family.
This flashlight is easily bright enough for any likely task of an EDC flashlight. It can be clipped on to caps, pockets, collars, or other things and then aimed with its rotating head. The magnet isn't great, but is enough to hold it to a stationary surface. It also offers low-intensity RGB lighting; red in particular is good for map-reading at night. I bought two, and plan to keep them in tool bags
